Alia

Alia is a multifaceted founder, consultant and fundraising professional. Passionate about the intersection of business and social good, she supports mission driven entrepreneurs through her firm, Mahmoud Management. Based in both NYC and Miami, she serves as the part-time Director of Growth and Innovation at Radical Partners, a social impact accelerator that invests in change agents solving South Florida's most pressing issues. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Fouta Harissa, a social enterprise that designs and produces hand-loomed textiles that preserve artisanal weaving in Tunisia.

Having lived in Tunis for 5 years, Alia served as Microsoft's Regional Citizenship Manager for the Middle East and North Africa. She has delivered multiple TEDxTalks on entrepreneurship, earning her recognition as one of the "10 Most Inspiring Arab-American Leaders to Watch" by the Huffington Post. Alia co-founded "Le15," a seed fund and accelerator for Tunisian startups, and is a founding member of Corporate Responsibility Miami, fostering private sector collaboration for sustainable impact. She holds a Masters in International Business and Economic Development from New York University and speaks three languages. 

In her free time Alia enjoys doing yoga, going to art museums and seeing live music.
