Valérie
Valérie is originally from Haiti and currently spends her time in Montreal and San José,Costa Rica. As Founder and Lead Consultant at Root to Bloom, she is deeply committed to providing creatives, entrepreneurs, and investors with the support they need to fund their impact. Prior to founding RTB, she was the Director of Revenue and Partnerships at ICA Fund Good Jobs, an equity-driven business accelerator + impact investing company based in the California Bay Area. Before ICA, she was responsible for corporate and public sector partnerships at Kiva.
Valérie has been featured by MTV Americas to share her experiences with award-winning public-private partnerships and interviewed on MTV’s “Agentes de Cambio.” She is a Kennedy Fellow, Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar as well as a Skoll and Mastercard Foundation Youth Leader. Valerie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
Valérie loves movement. She is a student of different African Diasporic dance practices and enjoys yoga, pilates and healing movement practice.
